Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham has been dealing with a sports hernia this season, which will require surgery to repair. This would help explain much of what has been going on this season with him, the offense in general.

Friday morning, Odell Beckham tweeted that he wasn't unhappy in Cleveland, that he never said he was. This came on the heels of Beckham saying Thursday there's nowhere else he'd rather be, which still had people suggesting he was vague about his future with the Cleveland Browns.

Back on the practice field Wednesday, the Cleveland Browns were able to provide good news on the status of a number of players dealing with injuries. Tackle Greg Robinson cleared concussion protocol and was practicing. Defensive End Olivier Vernon was able to practice. Safety Eric Murray was a surprise in that he was able to practice.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield rushed to the locker room before the half after attempting to throw a Hail Mary that went 70 yards. On his follow through, he banged his hand on Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Bud Duprees's facemask.

The Cleveland Browns announced they are not activating David Njoku this week to face the Pittsburgh Steelers. After being designated to return ahead of the game against the Miami Dolphins, the Brows have one more week to activate him or he reverts to injured reserve the rest of the season.
