TEMPE -- It was another hot day here at the Arizona Cardinals' OTA practice, but the heat only continues to turn up here at the team facility in Tempe. We're now in our second week of OTA's ahead of mandatory minicamp, which begins next week on Tuesday, June 13.

Practice footage from today:

The Cardinals are still without safety Budda Baker, who is working out on his own accord but promised to be there when it matters most (likely training camp later in July, we'll see about mandatory minicamp). Baker made his trade request with the team public after they didn't make him the highest paid safety in the league.

Arizona still has linebacker Zaven Collins working with edge rushers, though it remains to be seen whether or not the Cardinals intend to use him full time or only in various packages. Without Collins and Isaiah Simmons in the middle (who is working with defensive backs), Kyzir White, Krys Barnes and Owen Pappoe could see significant time as inside linebackers in 2023.
