Arizona Cardinals Player's Stats Projections
We are during the "mini bye week" here after Cardinals loss to the 49ers on Thursday night. I wondered how the Cardinals players were doing this season so I'm looking at their season projection stats based off what they've done through 9 weeks (or less if missed time).
Kyler Murray is having a very good rookie season. If he can finish with only 7 interceptions that will be very impressive for a rookie that is on pace to throw over 500 times.
As long as David Johnson doesn't get injured again and has a similar roles as the start of the season, he should surpass 600 yards in both rushing and receiving. With the addition of Kenyan Drake, Johnson might take on more of a WR role in the offense.
Fitzgerald is having a decent yard and has been one of the few reliable options consistently each week for Murray as he's projected to near 900 receiving yards.
Jones is on pace 17 sacks and 7 force fumbles! That's defensive MVP type numbers. Outside of Arizona, main media hasn't mentioned how well Chandler Jones is playing this season.
Jordan Hicks is currently 2nd in the entire league in total tackles at 89. He's projected to surpass 150 by year end. If he's able to add 2 more FF and a few interceptions he'd have a great year. Hicks has been a great off-season pick up for the team.
