Kyler Murray Named NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray continues his impressive rookie season with feats and accomplishments. He is setting franchise and league marks and continues to add to his resume.

Kyler Murray was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after his performance in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Murray becomes  only the second Cardinals rookie ever to be named offensive player of the week. The last time was in 1993 when running back Ronald Moore was named it twice.

Against the Falcons in a 34-33 victory, Murray completed 27-of-37 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns. He was not sacked and did not turn the ball over. He also rushed for 32 yards.

He led a game-winning fourth-quarter drive for the second week in a row.

He becomes the ninth Cardinals rookie in team history to be selected as a player of the week and the first since David Johnson (special teams, Week 2) in 2015.
