Kyler Murray's expectation for the Cardinals Offense. First day of training camp
Cardinals kicked off their first day of 2019 training camp. Before practice coaches and players spoke with the media. Kyler Murray was asked about his expectation for the Carindals offensive scheme. "I don't see why everybody thinks it can't be successful. ... I don't see why it can't work on the pro level. It's our job to make people believe in that."
Kyler Murray will be playing in a scheme very similar to what he's played in high school and in college. Kingsbury has already mentioned the amount of work Murray has put in to understanding his system.
People around the league will be soon talking about Kyler after he makes a few amazing plays like this in the pros:
Sounds like Murray is already impressing people on Day 1 of camp.
Scare of the day came in the Cards' first practice of camp when linebacker Chandler Jones made some kind of accidental contact with rookie QB Kyler Murray and everyone kind of froze.
"I didn't want to do that. I didn't want to do that at all," Jones said. "That was really bad. I want to watch the film and see what really happened. I want to say I was pulled down (by the offensive lineman). I almost got cut today. We don't want to tackle the first overall pick in practice the first day of camp."
