Surprise rookie WR reportedly looking better than Isabella or Butler?

The Athletic's Cardinals beat writers Scott Bordow and C.J. Holmes answer 10 questions about the team following six weeks of spring practices was asked of the rookie wide receivers, who has looked good and who hasn’t?

Bordow's answer, "Again, we can’t report on what we see after the first 20 minutes but we do hear things, and rookie KeeSean Johnson, the team’s sixth-round pick, has reportedly looked better than either Andy Isabella or Hakeem Butler. Johnson is a smooth route runner with good hands, whereas Isabella hasn’t been as natural catching the ball, and Butler is a raw product who struggles to shed press coverage."

We shouldn't be worried about Isabella or Butler just yet, but it's promising news for fellow rookie KeeSean Johnson. He will have his work cut out for himself with the four WRs scheduled to be above him (Fitzgerald, Kirk, Isabella & Butler).  KeeSean has some talent to work with as shown below in a few highlights.

Do you think KeeSean Johnson can make the Cardinals 53-man roster his rookie year or will be a practice squad player? Could he actually make a shocking impact right away? Share your thoughts in the comments below and make sure to follow me on Twitter @TylerJaggi

KeeSean Johnson is my surprise rookie of 2019. Although they say he’s not fast (4.6), being a great route runner makes up for a lot. Great routes help offset DB speed. So many young receivers with blazing speed are limited in their route tree. I like Isabella but looking at his college tape shows him catching virtually everything into the body. I see him using his hands in some of the highlights of minicamp so it’s obvious he’s being coached up. Heard about his jugs machine purchase and have great confidence in him. Go Cards!

I heard Kingsbury wants to keep 7 or 8 WRs on the roster. Most teams usually only keep 5 or 6

Always good to hear. I think Isabella has the most upside. I'm worried about Butler

I wouldn't be too worried. Route runners like Johnson usually find earlier success because that translates quicker to the pros. Isabella and Butler were more talented coming out. I had them at 30th and 20th overall on my big board during the draft process.

Im glad to hear this about Johnson, but now I'm a little worried about Isabella & Butler
