In the game of football, it is evident that players always come and go. The NFL is a league that offers 21 official games at most in a season and franchises do their best to ensure that their rosters are good enough to win majority of those.

Former Chargers OL Dan Feeney has had to learn this the hard way these past few seasons. He was drafted by LA back in 2017 and logged four years with them. He now joins the Miami Dolphins on a one-year deal following some time with the New York Jets. The deal was first reported by Peter Scrager of the NFL.

The young center always showed flashes of potential throughout his time there but would fizzle out in big moments. Feeney had an injury history as well when suiting up for the Bolts so that was an exclamation mark as well.

Feeney played college football for Indiana and stayed all four years there. He was viewed as a center that could grow to play significant role in the Chargers' offense and they took him in the third round. However, he just never found his full groove and he is most remembered for hopping on the mullet wave before everybody else did in 2020.

In all seriousness, Feeney is still just 28-years-old and can provide a spark on the offensive end for a Dolphins team that is still trying to find identity. We root for any player that has suited up for our franchise and commend him for his games played with us.
