The Los Angeles Chargers offseason hasn't gone quite as planned. Besides adding new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, things have been choppy.

The Austin Ekeler situation is still hanging over the team, and LA lost their linebacker Drue Tranquill to their division rivals Kansas City Chiefs, in free agency. Unfortunately for the Chargers, the drama between the fan base and Tranquill is still alive.

Tranquill signed with the Chiefs for one-year worth up to $5 million in hopes of getting his first-ever Super Bowl. The Chiefs Twitter account posted a video of the 27-year-old and said he's looking forward to "runout of the right side of the field this time."

Shots fired toward the Chargers' way? It sure feels like it. Drue signed for way less money than he deserved. He had an incredible 2022 season, having career highs on almost everything across the board, so it was shocking he signed for a small amount of money.

Fans weren't shy to share their thoughts on Tranquill's words in the comment section.

It'll be odd to see Drue donning the red and white and seeing him twice a year, but it's all a part of the business. Let's hope these shots toward the Chargers die down, and we can go back to missing Drue in quiet.
