The Jets are listening to offers on defensive tackle Leonard Williams, according to MMQB's Albert Breer. Williams has a higher run defense grade from Pro Football Focus than any Chiefs' interior defender than Derrick Nnadi and a better pass rush grade than all but Chris Jones.
The Chiefs' biggest need heading toward the trade deadline appears shoring up the run defense. Acquiring interior pass rush insurance with Chris Jones rehabbing a groin injury makes sense as well.
Williams is on a $14.2 million contract this season and unsigned for 2020, so it might be a difficult match if the Jets want a high-end return for Williams.
