FRISCO - A Friday morning injury report really serves as a prediction. And we've got a good prediction on Tyron Smith and a weird prediction on Leighton Vander Esch.

Offensive tackles Tyron Smith and La’el Collins were both DNP’s on Thursday, but while Collins' knee will likely not allow him to go today, causing him to be scratched for Sunday's game at the New York Jets, I do believe Tyron will practice and play. (UPDATE from coach Jason Garrett's at 10:49 am: Lael will not work today and Tyron is expected to "work on the side.'') So that'll put Tyron at left tackle, with swing tackle Cameron Fleming getting to work today at right tackle prepping for the start there, with Brandon Knight as their backup.

Now to Vander Esch, who on Wednesday was here at The Star but was sent home, then on Thursday was also here but was limited to work in the backyard while the team practiced inside Ford Center.

Vander Esch, as first reported by DallasCowboys.com, is suffering from vertigo and is getting treatment for it, with the belief that he will be able to return to work today.

Meanwhile, receiver Randall Cobb, who was unable to practice Thursday with a back issue, will likely return after the precautionary measure. Amari Cooper, Tyrone Crawford and Zack Martin have all been limited in practice at times this week but should play. And more good news: Antwaun Woods is back as a full participant in practice and is slated return to the defensive line on Sunday.
