DETROIT - “Up the Tunnel” with the Dallas Cowboys is a postgame staple for years for us now, usually with so much eyeball-grabbing stuff that Cowboys fans watch it multiple times, just to make sure they’ve caught it all.

So it is in Detroit following the 35-27 win over the Lions, a Dak Prescott-led effort (see our game story here) that closed with a trio of Victory formations ...

Then featured the entertaining tunnel look, complete with Ezekiel Elliott giving away his game-work shoes (and other Cowboys like Leighton Vander Esch, Robert Quinn and Randall Cobb tossing goodies into the Ford Field audience ...

And then came our visit with Zeke and others in the locker room.

Why so nice to the good people of Detroit? Maybe because so many of them were loud Cowboys fans.

‘When you’re in an away stadium and you hear, ‘DEFENSE!’ ... that’s heartwarming,” said pass-rusher Robert Quinn. “It shows the passion and support Cowboys fans have.”
