One-Liner:
An immense force along the interior offensive line, Henderson looks to finish every rep by overpowering defenders.
Evaluation:
Imposing stature, long legs with a thick trunk and upper body. Certainly capable of driving a pile and finishing. Noteworthy quickness off the snap considering his frame. Good in short areas with the ability to transition with functional agility. Bad intentions on the move, kicking out and finishing edge defenders on counter runs. Creates significant runways both play side and back side as a run blocker. Anchor to maintain pocket depth. Can work one to two in order of the most dangerous man in pass pro. Lumbering mover vertically despite solid change of direction. Can be too aggressive at the second level, overshooting his angle and allowing linebackers to fly underneath. Poor body positioning can lead to leverage issues. Hand placement needs work, allows defenders into his body or get by him with swat techniques. Henderson is a premier run blocker whose combination of power and agility parlays into constant pancake blocks. Smooth enough to work in a zone scheme and strong enough to get out and cause havoc on gap runs, his utility as a guard is limitless. In pass protection, some technical decencies rear their head, but his anchor and stature leave less concern as to his ability to maintain pocket presence. A prospect that may be currently underrated, his status could rise as we approach April's draft.

Background:
LaDarius Henderson is a graduate student returning for the Sun Devils. He started all 13 games last season only missing 12 snaps the entire season. Coming off a great season last year Henderson only allowed one sack and was the 11th-highest graded guard overall on offense in the Pac-12 (71.3) during the regular season. While Henderson only started playing football as a junior he was the No. 997 overall prospect nationally and the No. 84 offensive tackle prospect in the country according to 24/7 Sports’ Composite Rankings.
