Background:
Sedrick Van Pran competed in football and track and field for Warren Easton High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. The four-star prospect was ranked number one nationally for the Offensive Center position. Van Pran started all four years at Warren Easton, was a team captain in the last three, and helped the Eagles average nearly 40 points per game as a senior. At Georgia, his success and leadership continued to thrive. In 2020, Van Pran played in four games as a reserve Offensive Lineman. In 2021, he started every game for the Bulldogs in which he played 90% of all offensive snaps throughout the season, including 100% of offensive snaps in eight games. Van Pran also started every game for the Bulldogs in 2022, was named team Co-Captain in five games, and helped Georgia accomplish a 13-0 record followed by a national title. Van Pran was honored with being named to the 2022 Coaches’ All-SEC Second Team.
