According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the team is set to interview Houston Texans quarterback coach Jerrod Johnson.
Johnson had success working with rookie C.J. Stroud this past season, leading the Texans to the Divisional Round of the playoffs. Perhaps with a stacked Eagles offense led by Jalen Hurts, Johnson can help Philadelphia reach its full potential.

DEC 18 HURTS PLAYING Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (illness) is “feeling well enough to go” and will play tonight against the Seattle Seahawks, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Hurts traveled to Seattle separately from the team after popping up on the Saturday injury report with an undisclosed illness.
DEC 17 HURTS QUESTIONABLE Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts now appears to be trending in the wrong direction ahead of Monday night’s game at the Seattle Seahawks.
Hurts, who was a DNP at Saturday’s practice due to illness, has been downgraded to questionable after his condition “worsened overnight,” per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“Eagles are downgrading QB Jalen Hurts to questionable for Monday night’s game in Seattle after his sickness worsened overnight, per a source,” Schefter tweeted. “Hurts still is harboring hopes of playing Monday night, and is traveling to Seattle separately from the team so as to try not get anyone else sick.”
DEC 16 JALEN HURTS SICK Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is out of Saturday's practice due to an illness, per Eagles reporter Jeff McLane. He is expected to travel with the team to Seattle for Monday night's meeting with the Seahawks.
Hurts missing a practice for any reason is always going to raise some eyebrows, but Eagles fans can breath a sign of relief knowing that this isn't an issue with the lingering knee injury that he's been battling this season.
Ask Hurts, and he'd probably say that an illness will be the last thing to prevent from facing the Seahawks in a game that Philly needs to win to keep themselves in control of their own destiny to the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs.
This season, Hurts has gone 286 of 430 passing for 3,192 yards, 19 touchdowns and 10 picks to go along with 126 carries for 460 yards and 12 rushing touchdowns.
DEC 9 BIG DOM The NFL is prohibiting Philadelphia Eagles security chief Dom DiSandro from being on the sideline for Sunday night's road game against the Dallas Cowboys due to his role in the sideline altercation with San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw last week.
DiSandro will still maintain his normal duties during Sunday's game. It's unclear if this sideline ban will be for the remainder of the season.
However, per ESPN's Adam Schefter, this decision appears to be ongoing.
"DiSandro and other Eagles’ officials met Friday morning at the league office in New York with commissioner Roger Goodell," Schefter tweeted. "The league still is reviewing additional material to see if further discipline is warranted."
The Eagles released a statement on Saturday following the news:
“This is an ongoing conversation with the NFL, and we are going to respect the restriction that is currently in place. Although Dom will not be on the sideline this Sunday, he will continue to fulfill his role with the team in all other capacities."
DEC 6 EAGLES CUT LINEBACKER The Philadelphia Eagles are making roster moves ahead of their meeting with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and in light of signing former Indianapolis Colts linebacker Shaquille Leonard.
On Wednesday, the Eagles waived linebacker Chrisitian Elliss, who started in Sunday's 42-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers, signed receiver Greg Ward to the practice squad and released receiver Cam Sims from the practice squad.

DEC 6 EAGLES INDUCTED INTO COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME Three former Philadelphia Eagles are being recognized for their collegiate achievements.
Running back Brian Westbrook (Villanova), cornerback Troy Vincent (Wisconsin) and wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (Missouri) are among the inductees for this year's College Football Hall of Fame class.
Each player had strong collegiate careers before becoming key contributors for the Eagles in the NFL.
NOV 28 SHAQ LEAVES JERRY Dallas got the first shot. Philly is up next.
That's the agenda for free agent Shaq Leonard, who was at The Star in Frisco, Texas, on Tuesday for a recruiting visit that included lunch with team owner Jerry Jones.
But while the visit reportedly "went well,'' the deal has not been done, and so the coveted three-time Pro Bowl linebacker is now headed for a similar visit here in Philadelphia.
"(The Eagles) interest doesn't surprise me at all,'' Jones said on Tuesday morning before the visit. "But we've got an attractive situation here. Not only with the way we are playing, but just the aura of the Dallas Cowboys."
Jordan Schultz of The Score was first to report that Dallas' "aura'' did not result in a "don't let him leave the building'' signing, as Leonard is now Philly-bound. ... with a decision to make that might be in large part about which team is more likely to provide him a chance at a Super Bowl ring.
NOV 28 SHAQ PLAN The Dallas Cowboys are getting the first shot at recruiting former three-time Pro Bowl linebacker Shaq Leonard, recently cut by the Indianapolis Colts; that's been confirmed by sources in Dallas.
But after that? ESPN is now reporting that he “should be visiting later this week” with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Leonard, 28, has seen a decline in his level of play due to injuries, but is still viewed as a top-notch run-stopper and a high-character locker room presence.
NOV 26 FLETCHER COX INJURED Philadelphia Eagles veteran defensive tackle Fletcher Cox was questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills at Lincoln Financial Field due to a groin injury.
However, the Eagles have now officially ruled him out for the remainder of the game.
Cox suffered the injury near Buffalo's goal line in the first half and had to be walked back to the locker room.
The Eagles will now look to continue leaning on Jalen Carter, Brandon Graham, Josh Sweat and others on the defensive line if Cox misses extended time.
The Eagles lead Buffalo 28-24 late in the fourth quarter.
NOV. 19 COWBOYS KEEP PACE IN NFC EAST The Philadelphia Eagles still have the Dallas Cowboys breathing down their necks after a 33-10 win against the Carolina Panthers.
The Cowboys are now 7-3, just 1.5 games back against the Eagles. Meanwhile, the New York Giants beat the Washington Commanders, who are now non-factors in the playoff race.
NOV. 16 SUPER BOWL REMATCH MET BY COLD, WET WEATHER? - When the Eagles and Chiefs played nine months ago, the field was a part of the story. It could be the same for the much-anticipated rematch Monday night.
Last February it was slippery footing during Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona. This time - when the 8-1 Eagles and 7-2 Chiefs meet for regular-season supremacy - the forecast at Kansas City's Arrowhead Stadium calls for temperatures in the upper 30s and a 55-percent chance of rain.
The Eagles have maintained that the Chiefs were "blessed" by the sloppy field in Arizona. If the forecasters are right, Philly may have to overcome more less-than-perfect conditions to upset the defending champions.
NOV 8 EAGLES ROOKIE NOLAN SMITH ON COLLEGE GAMEDAY Philadelphia Eagles rookie pass rusher Nolan Smith is set to be a Week 11 guest picker on College Gameday for Saturday's matchup between the No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs and the No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels in Athens.
Smith took to Instagram to help reveal the announcement:
Smith, a two-time champion with the Bulldogs, played at Georgia for four seasons from 2019-22. During his college career, he posted 113 tackles, 11.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and one interception. He would go on to be the No. 30 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft this past April.
This season with the Eagles, he's tallied seven total tackles and one sack.
NOV 5 DALLAS GOEDERT INJURED Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert had to be helped to the locker room after suffering an apparent upper body injury in the third quarter of Sunday's meeting with the Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field.
The Eagles announced that Goedert is out with a right forearm injury. He was originally questionable to return.
Goedert had just picked up a big gain on a 28-yard catch-and-run to get the Eagles down to the Dallas 41-yard line. However, he landed awkwardly on his arm at the end of the play and laid on the ground for a few moments.
Goedert exits with three catches for 50 yards.

NOV 3 EAGLES INJURY REPORT The Philadelphia Eagles released their final injury report of the week Friday and have officially ruled out four players for Sunday’s home game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Cornerback Bradley Roby (shoulder), running back Boston Scott (personal), tight end Grant Calcaterra (concussion) and offensive guard Cam Jurgens (foot) have all been ruled out for Sunday.

OCT 29 JALEN CARTER INJURED The Philadelphia Eagles announced that rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Washington Commanders due to a back injury.
Carter reportedly went into the locker room.
OCT 29 HALFTIME INJURY UPDATE Philadelphia Eagles offensive guard Sua Opeta suffered an unknown injury in the first half of Sunday's meeting with the Washington Commanders at FedEx Field. Opeta exited and was replaced by rookie Tyler Steen for the rest of the first half before returning.
The Eagles also shared an injury update on two other players.
"Injury Update: DT Milton Williams (shoulder) is questionable to return and TE Grant Calcaterra is being evaluated pursuant to the Concussion Protocol," the Eagles tweeted.
The Eagles trail Washington 17-10 at halftime.
OCT 28 JULIO JONES ELEVATED The Philadelphia Eagles have elevated receiver Julio Jones from the practice squad once again ahead of Sunday's road meeting with the Washington Commanders.
Jones signed to the Eagles practice squad prior to Week 7's 31-17 win over the Miami Dolphins. He played in the game and caught his only target for three yards.
Jones will look to make a bigger impact for the offense on Sunday against Washington.
OCT 22 EAGLES NFC EAST LEAD STRENGTHENS The NFC East saw two of its teams in action in the early hour as the New York Giants beat the Washington Commanders in a 14-7 affair.
The result puts the Giants at 2-5 and the Commanders at 3-4. The idle Dallas Cowboys remain in second at 4-2, while the 5-1 Philadelphia Eagles have a chance to build a lead tonight with a bounce-back victory against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football.
OCT 21 EAGLES KELLY GREEN FIELD The Philadelphia Eagles have revealed the limited edition field they'll play on in Sunday's meeting with the Miami Dolphins at Lincoln Financial Field. With it being Kelly Green night, the Eagles are turning back the clock on the midfield logo as well.

The "Eagles" text in the end zone is also a different font than usual. Philly's slick Kelly Green jerseys will draw all the attention, but the Eagles are making sure the entire stadium is keeping true to the theme on a special night.
OCT. 19 MORE RIVAL SUPPORT FOR EAGLES' "TUSH PUSH" - Though they failed to duplicate its success, the Dallas Cowboys continue to be in favor of the Eagles' signature "Tush Push."
Earlier this season, start linebacker Micah Parsons said he liked the play and admitted the onus was on defenses to stop it. In last Monday night's win over the Chargers, the Cowboys tried the play but quarterback Dak Prescott was stuffed on 4th-and-1.
Joked Prescott, "They didn't push my tush enough."
In his weekly radio appearance in Dallas this week, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones supported the play perfected by Philly.
“I’m all for it," Jones said. "I like the play. I completely agree with that’s the play to run.”
The play has been a controversial one, with some teams said to be in favor of banning the play. It's akin to a rugby scrum, and there are concerns about injuries to the quarterback, in particular.
Jones is not in that camp.
“I think there’s a place for the play, and I think you’ve got some options to run off of it," he said. "You can talk about the injury to the quarterback, but you can do the tush push with somebody other than the starting quarterback under center."

SEPT. 28 EAGLES SETTING RECORDS WITH RUSHING, FINAL SCORES - The undefeated Eagles are re-writing record books, both traditional and unique.
During the last two games of their 3-0 start they have out-rushed opponents by a whopping 460-69, the largest margin (+391) in a two-game span for the franchise since 1949. But against Tampa Bay last Monday night they also set a quirky mark never to be broken.
There have been 17,428 games played in NFL history and only one - Philly's win over the Bucs - finished with a final score of 25-11. It's called "scorigami" and with the advent of more missed PATs and more two-point conversions, scores have gotten wonky in the last couple of seasons. The Dolphins' 70-20 victory over the Broncos also provided an unprecedented score.
The Eagles ran out the clock in their non-traditional 14-point win in Tampa. But even they would've scored another touchdown, a final score of 31-11 or 32-11 would have also provided a scorigami.

SEPT 20 EAGLES ROSTER ACTION The Philadelphia Eagles announced Wednesday that they've made a few notable roster moves. The team has signed receiver/returner Britain Covey to the active roster, placed cornerback Avonte Maddox on injured reserve, and signed running back Bryant Koback to the practice squad.
It seems that the Eagles are now making Covey the team's full-time return man after he was cut during the initial 53-man cutdown.
The Eagles didn't specify in the announcement, but the expectation is that Maddox will be on season-ending injured reserve after tearing his pectoral muscle in Week 2's win over the Minnesota Vikings.
SEPT 18 EAGLES CUT SIPOSS The Philadelphia Eagles are making some notable changes at punter, as the team announced Monday that they’ve cut punter Arryn Siposs and signed Braden Mann.
Siposs was cut during the Eagles’ 53-man roster cutdown prior to Week 1, but has been elevated from the practice squad for both of Philly’s first two games. He’s been with the Eagles since 2021.
Mann, a 2020 sixth-round pick by the New York Jets, has played in 43 career games.
SEPT 14 MADDOX, WATKINS OUT VS VIKINGS Already plagued with injuries headed into Week 2, the Philadelphia Eagles have now lost two more key contributors on Thursday night against the Minnesota Vikings at home.
Cornerback Avonte Maddox (shoulder) and receiver Quez Watkins (hamstring) are both out for the remainder of Thursday's game. Maddox was in the blue medical tent on the Eagles sideline, but has since gone back to the locker room. The 27-year-old forced a fumble in the first quarter against the Vikings.
SEPT 11 BRADBERRY IN PROTOCOL
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback James Bradberry has entered concussion protocol following Sunday's 25-20 win over the New England Patriots, per coach Nick Sirianni.
"James is in (concussion) protocol, and obviously you know that once they go into that world I can't comment on that or say anything about that, so we'll see how that goes," Sirianni said Monday.
With the Eagles now on a short week, this leaves Bradberry's availability in doubt for Thursday night's home opener against the Minnesota Vikings. Against the Patriots, Bradberry finished with four total tackles and one pass defense.
SEPT 10 RASHAAD PENNY OUT Philadelphia Eagles running back Rashaad Penny will be a healthy scratch for Sunday's season opener against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium, per multiple reports.
Penny is likely set to be the fourth running back on the depth chart to start the season, sitting behind D'Andre Swift, Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott. Considering the bodies in the backfield, it's not too surprising that one of the four be deemed inactive for Sunday.
Penny signed a one-year, $1.35 million deal with Philly in March.
SEPT 8 EAGLES INJURY REPORT The Philadelphia Eagles have revealed their injury report from Friday's session ahead of Sunday's seainson opener against the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium.
Eagles cornerbacks Josh Jobe and Mario Goodrich were both listed on the report with an "illness" designation, but were full participants in Philly's walk-through. The game status for both players was not listing, which likely means that both will be active on Sunday.
Coincidentally, Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson is listed as questionable with an illness as well, though he's expected to play.
AUG 22 TAYLOR AT EAGLES-COLTS PRACTICE As the Philadelphia Eagles and Indianapolis Colts hold a joint practice in Philly on Tuesday ahead of Thursday's preseason game at Lincoln Financial Field, Colts star running back Jonathan Taylor is in attendance.
This isn't a surprise, as Colts head coach and former Eagles offensive coordinator Shane Steichen had said Sunday that Taylor would be rejoining the team after being away for personal reasons. However, Taylor, who was granted permission by the Colts on Monday to seek a trade, remains on the PUP list and observed the practice in a hoodie and sweatpants.
While Steichen is back in Philly to face his old coaching staff, Taylor has also made a return close to his hometown of Salem, N.J., only about a 45-minute drive from Lincoln Financial Field.

AUG 17 EAGLES INJURIES PILE UP
Philadelphia Eagles rookie pass rusher Nolan Smith was making some impressive plays in Thursday's preseason game against the Cleveland Browns at Lincoln Financial Field.
But he ended up being one of three players to exit in the first half due to injury, joining receiver Olamide Zaccheaus and cornerback Zech McPhearson. McPhearson had to be carted off due to a lower body injury, as he was unable to put any weight on his leg.
Smith went to the blue medical after jogging off the sideline with his left arm hanging stiff at his side. He was diagnosed with a shoulder injury, per the Eagles broadcast, is questionable to return.
Zaccheaus went to the locker room, but returned to the sideline. Smith returned to the bench as well.
But in the second half, the injuries continued, and got more serious. Eagles receiver Tyrie Cleveland had to have his upper body stabilized and was put on a stretcher before being driven off on a cart. Per the Eagles broadcast, Cleveland suffered a neck, but has movement in his extremities.
Eagles rookie defensive tackle Moro Ojomo was another player to suffer an injury. Similarly to Cleveland, Ojomo was stretched off and his neck was stabilized.
AUG 14 EAGLES JALEN HURTS PARTNERS WITH MICHAEL JORDAN BRAND One of Jalen Hurts' idols growing up was NBA superstar Michael Jordan. Now the Eagles quarterback has joined Brand Jordan.
Hurts wore Jordan Brand's Jumpman logo in his cleats all of last season, including a pair of them in Super Bowl XLIII.
The deal was negotiated by Joe D'Amelio, VP of Football Marketing at @klutchsportsgroup.
After wearing the Jordan Brand's Jumpman logo on his cleats in all 18 games he played during the 2022 NFL season, including two pairs of Air Jordans in Super Bowl LVII, Hurts will enter the 2023 season officially signed with the Jordan Brand, as confirmed by Andscape ahead of the Nike subdivision's announcement Monday

AUG 14 EAGLES EX ERTZ CLEARED IN RETURN FROM MAJOR INJURY
Former Eagles tight end Zach Ertz "has been cleared for full football activity and is on track to start Week 1" for the Arizona Cardinals, according to NFL Media's Mike Garafolo. It just appears to be a matter of when the 32-year-old is activated from the PUP list.
Ertz had season-ending surgery to repair both the ACL and MCL in his left knee last November. He'll return to a Cardinals team that is expected to be without quarterback Kyler Murray, recovering from a torn ACL himself, at least to open the season. Jonathan Gannon -- who Ertz overlapped with in Philadelphia for the first half of 2021 -- is entering his first season as coach for the Cardinals.
Of course, Ertz spent the first eight-and-a-half seasons of his career with the Eagles, establishing himself as the best tight end in franchise history. A three-time Pro Bowl selection, Ertz caught 579 passes for 6,267 yards with the Eagles. He also scored the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter of the team's victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII.
AUG 13 EAGLES LB OUT FOR SEASON
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker and special teams standout Shaun Bradley was injured and subsequently carted off in Saturday's 20-19 preseason loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Bradley, a sixth-round pick by Philly in 2020, has appeared in 45 games in his career. He posted a message to social media Sunday morning and confirmed that he his out for the season. Though the nature of the injury is unconfirmed, it's a major blow to the Eagles' special teams.
"Not how I wanted the season to end for me, but I believe that God truly does give his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers," Bradley wrote in part of his message.

AUG 4 INJURY UPDATE Eagles edge rusher Patrick Johnson, who has had a solid camp, is being carted off the training Cabo practice field with what could be a left knee injury, with our Ed Kracz on the scene noting that Johnson appears “distraught.”
From Kracz: “Johnson was just carted off looking very distraught, with his head in his hands. The cart driver had his arm around Johnson, who looked to be favoring his left leg/knee when he was initially helped up.”
Additionally, standout cornerback James Bradberry isn’t practicing right now, having exited the field to go into the medical tent with what could be a groin injury.
JULY 25 BARKLEY'S BET Saquon Barkley bet on himself. And on Tuesday morning, he lost that bet, signing a deal with the Giants that is pretty much the same offer he's been griping about.
His bitter contract dispute centered on his view that his tag offer of $10.091 million was unfair. But now? Barkley and the Giants have agreed to a one-year contract. Just like the tag. His salary is a guarantee of $10.091 million. Just like the tag. There is a $2 million signing bonus wrapped into that, and its paid upfront. So that's a nice, small wrinkle. Oh, and there are $900,000 in incentives so that Barkley - should he reach an assortment of milestones - can earn up to $11 million.
But all of that is less than New York (which plays the Eagles twice in 2023, in Week 16 on Christmas and then in Week 18) had previously offered. In the end, Barkley gets rich, but not like he planned. And the Giants sign their best player ... Just like they planned.
JULY 19 JAVON ON MADDEN The Madden NFL 2024 video game franchise is releasing its player rankings for this year's edition. There is not a big surprise at the top when it comes to the defensive tackles; the Rams' Aaron Donald gets a 99 rating - as good as it gets.
But ol' Philadelphia Eagles pal - now of the San Francisco 49ers - Javon Hargrave? He earned just an 84 rating, ranking him as a defensive tackle Madden's No. 17 overall guy.
And Hargrave, seemingly with a twinkle in his eye, took to Twitter with his reaction to this insult, writing, "Definitely editing lol.''
Hargrave was outstanding with the Super Bowl runner-up Eagles last year, with a career-high 11.0 sacks, 16 QB hits and two fumble recoveries. He made the Pro Bowl, he made the Super Bowl, and then he made the big bucks - a four-year deal worth up to $84 million - to jump to The Bay.

The Eagles made sure to address the trenches with their draft picks while making some interesting selections in the secondary with Brown and Ringo.
More freshmen are on their way to The Linc, as the Eagles will be active alongside the rest of their NFL brethren in rookie free agency. Negotiations are already underway with players whose professional dreams remain active despite not hearing their name called at Union Station in Kansas City.
- Brady Russell, TE, Colorado: Russell is reportedly the nephew of Eagles senior personal executive Matt Russell. He now gets a chance from his uncle after five collegiate season at Colorado. Report
- Trevor Reid, OT, Louisville: Reid started all 13 games for the Cardinals last season and now adds some intriguing depth on the o-line. Report: KPRC2
- Ben VanSumeren, LB, Michigan State: A former Wolverine and Spartan, VanSumeren had his best collegiate season last year. He totaled 73 tackles, two passes defended and two sacks. Report: 247Sports
- Jadon Haselwood, WR, Arkansas: A former teammate of Jalen Hurts at Oklahoma, Haselwood now has a chance to be reunited for good with his one-time college quarterback. Last season, he posted a career-high in catches (59) and receiving yards (702) while adding three touchdowns. Report: On3
- Mekhi Garner, CB, LSU: A former JUCO product, Garner spent three years at Louisiana before making it to the big stage in the SEC at LSU. He finished his collegiate career with 19 passes defended and three interceptions. Report: On3
- Eli Ricks, CB, Alabama: Last year, the Eagles signed another Alabama cornerback after the draft - Josh Jobe - and he made the final roster and was a special team contributor. Ricks, who is 6-2 and 188 pounds, spent his first two years at LSU before transferring to Alabama. He was projected to be drafted in the fifth or sixth rounds. Report: On3
- Ty Zentner, K/P, Kansas State: Philly adds some depth on special teams with Zentner. He went 11 of 11 on field goals last season. He essentially announced the deal on his personal Twitter.
- Joseph Ngata, WR, Clemson: The Eagles have signed Ngata to an undrafted free agent deal. He played four years at Clemson, and posted a career-high in catches (41) and receiving yards (526) last season to go along with two touchdowns. Report: NFL Network.
