Patricia Traina’s earliest memories of Giants football started at the tail end of the dark period known to Giants fans as the “15 Years of Lousy Football.”

She vividly recalls the “Fumble,” yet surprisingly, that game didn’t discourage her curiosity about the game or the franchise.

With her interest in football growing like an all-out blitz, she decided to launch her sportswriting odyssey at Rutgers University’s Daily Targum, where in addition to football, she covered softball, tennis, baseball, and fencing.

Patricia’s free-agent sports writing journey first began with some occasional assignments from local newspapers. She parlayed that experience into a long and productive career as a contributor and then later as the senior editor for Inside Football, a by-subscription-only newsletter providing cover-to-cover analysis and exclusive features on the Giants.

She has since covered the team’s last three Super Bowl appearances and has been there from start to finish of notable eras in recent team history such as Eli Manning, Michael Strahan, Tom Coughlin, Odell Beckham Jr, and many others.

Patricia has been specifically sought to provide editorial coverage of the Giants for other media outlets such as The Sports Xchange, Lindy’s Pro Football Annual Preview, NFL Spin Zone, the Journal Inquirer (Central Connecticut), Bleacher Report, The Athletic – New York, SB Nation’s Big Blue View, and Forbes Sports Money.

She is also the host and producer of the LockedOn Giants podcast, a daily Giants podcast featuring guests, analysis and much more. Her first book, The Big 50: New York Giants: The Men and Moments that Made the New York Giants (Triumph Books), is scheduled to drop in early 2020.

Patricia lives with her husband in New Jersey and can be found on Twitter @Patricia_Traina.
