The Giants are taking a five-game losing streak into this weekend's game against a Jets team that has been equally as bad. But before we get to that, let's check where the MMQB crew at SI.com has the Giants ranked in this week's power rankings.

Believe it or not, the Giants are holding steady at No. 27, a spot the Giants have held for the last three weeks. Here's what the esteemed SI.com voting panel had to say:

Saquon Barkley was kept quiet in another loss in this transitional season for the Giants. One promising takeaway from Monday night? Daniel Jones will be just fine.

It's been a disappointing season for the Giants, who hoped to be competitive as they went through a transition period that included flipping the switch on the Daniel Jones era and breaking in a younger defense.

Questions about the offensive line and defense have come front and center, while injuries to receiver Sterling Shepard, running back Saquon Barkley, and tight end Evan Engram have deprived Daniel Jones of having his entire arsenal of options.

The Giants won't be climbing to the top half of anyone's power rankings any time soon. Hopefully, in this weekend's game against the 29th-ranked Jets, the Giants can do enough to warrant a higher placement in next week's league rankings.
