Just heard you say that the younger guys just don’t get it – implying they do not know how to act professionally. The study, the focus, the dedication to getting better at your craft everyday seems to be missing from some of the young players. Veterans can only model professional behavior – they cannot make the young guys take the extra steps needed to be truly successful. Demanding that behavior are the coaches jobs. Do you see the coaches performing this aspect of their jobs?
To be clear, it's not all the younger guys. Most of them do get it. But there are some who think they have all the answers and it doesn't matter who tried to reason with them.
