I definitely do NOT agree with the decision to bench Eli! Pat Shurmur is a GREAT play caller... for the first set of scripted plays that is. After that he SUCKS. Eli is a way better quarterback than Shurmur is a coach.

NO. The two losses were not Eli's fault whatsoever. Think of the WRs we had for the Buffalo game....Except for Engram who was well defended, who did Eli have to throw to... and when he completed a throw... Fowler gets hit and loses the ball...Not Eli's fault. I do not like to punish people for things they are not directly responsible for. In fact... In my book...Shurmer needs to sit or stop calling plays. He is awful.

I didn't agree with the switch this soon. However, there is no perfect time. I would have preferred after week 4 when Tate is back. But, the schedule is really tough at that point. I hope that Love and Ballantine play on defense more often. All of the healthy rookies need to gain experience and to be evaluated.

I'm fine with the switch. DJ might give us a spark. Some guys might play inspired football who knows. What I'm not okay with is 5 tight ends on the roster.
