The Jacksonville Jaguars rounded out their practice squad this morning, signing rookie defensive end Chuck Harris to take the 10th and final spot on the unit.

The six-foot-three-inch, 265-pound rookie pass rusher from the University of Buffalo initially signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent after the 2019 NFL Draft. Harris flashed at outside linebacker in the Bears' 3-4 during the preseason but was ultimately cut during the final cut day before the season began.

In college, Harris played in 41 career games and totaled 149 tackles, including 22.5 tackles for loss and 12.0 sacks. He did not receive an NFL Scouting Combine invite, but at Buffalo's pro day he ran a 4.74 40-yard dash, had a vertical jump of 28 1/2-inches, and a broad jump of 09'04". He also recorded a 7.46 in the three cone drill.

With the addition of Harris, the Jaguars' practice squad now contains the following players:

  • Rookie offensive lineman  Ka'John Armstrong

  • Rookie wide receiver Terry Godwin
