GM Joe Douglas continued his aggressive revamp of the Jets on Wednesday with another trade.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Jets are trading a 2020 sixth round pick to the Colts for cornerback Nate Hairston. Hairston still has two years remaining on his rookie deal.

Hairston has made 11 starts for the Colts in his two seasons in the league. The Colts selected Hairston with the 158th pick in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot, 195-pound Hairston is a Washington, D.C. native and played collegiately at Temple. For his pro career, Hairston has amassed 65 tackles, two sacks, six pass deflections and an interception.

With cornerback considered a position that needed to be addressed, this was a solid move by Douglas and the Jets. Hairston is a quality option for the Jets as they attempt to improve at cornerback.
