Lions defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni spoke to the media during the team's bye week about facing Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in Week 6.

With the Lions going on the road to take on Rodgers and the Packers on Monday Night Football, it will be important for Pasqualoni & Co. to continue their success in curtailing the production of the opposition's passer.

"I think it's got us to, in each game, the last possession in the fourth quarter," Pasqualoni said. "Against the quality of teams we are playing, you would like to be ahead. You would like to have a couple-touchdown lead. Couple little things here and there, and we may have been able to enjoy that luxury. It's gotten us into that deal where you have a chance to win the game, and that is what you are trying to do."

He was then asked about the Lions' ability to limit the first four quarterbacks they faced to a 55.4 completion percentage and an 80.3 passer rating.

"I guess what we have done has been fairly successful," Pasqualoni said. "It doesn't mean that it will continue to go that way. It just means that is the way we have won so far. There are so many good quarterbacks, and we are seeing another good one here as we come up, a Hall of Fame kind of guy. That's no box of chocolates. We are going to have to figure out what to do there."

NOTES

Rodgers has a career record of 13-5 against the Lions.
