The story of Sunday’s Week 2 NFL action was, unfortunately, two significant injuries to quarterbacks.

First, it was Bears star Caleb Williams who went down with a leg injury in the Bears’ loss to the Vikings. The 2024 No. 1 pick ran right before getting tripped up and going to the ground in serious pain. Williams was eventually helped off the field by trainers and taken to the locker room. He was ruled out for the remainder of the game with a hamstring injury and was replaced by backup Tyson Bagent.

Then, in the late-afternoon slate, Commanders signal-caller Jayden Daniels suffered a left elbow injury—the same one he hurt in 2025—on the team’s final play of the first half. He, too, left the game and did not return. Washington coach Dan Quinn told reporters following his team’s loss to the Cowboys that Daniels dislocated his elbow and that X-rays showed no fracture.

“We will rally so hard around Marcus [Mariota] until Jayden is back.”

With that, here’s a look at everything else you may have missed across the NFL in Week 2.
