Nothing has changed on the Green Bay Packers’ injury report concerning quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his top target, Davante Adams.

Rodgers (knee) was limited participation while Adams (toe) did not participate in Friday’s padded practice. Adams on Thursday strongly suggested his battle with a turf-toe injury will not be won in time for Monday night’s game against Detroit.

Coach Matt LaFleur, as is his custom, was reluctant to say anything about Rodgers, including when the injury occurred. There didn’t seem to be any mobility issues, however, during the portion of practice open to reporters.

“I’m going to always listen to our players and, if something doesn’t feel quite right, then we’re going to be cautious with them,” LaFleur said after Friday’s practice.

Adams remains out with an injury sustained in the fourth quarter against Philadelphia on Sept. 26.

“People hear turf toe and think it’s just a jam. Turf toe means that you strained and you tore something,” Adams said on Thursday. “There’s ligament damage, and we’ve just got to let that heal up. I’ve made a lot of strides and I’m definitely able to move around a lot better than what I was, but we’ve still got some healing to go.”

For a second consecutive day, center Corey Linsley was limited participation. However, he said he remains in the concussion protocol and was not allowed to talk.

The Packers’ injury report was mostly unchanged, with receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling and defensive tackle Montravius Adams going from limited to full participation. Starting safety Darnell Savage, who suffered an ankle injury against Dallas, did not practice again. If he is inactive for Monday night, Will Redmond figures to make the start.

“I’m feeling better,” Savage said. “Just trying to go through process, listen to what those guys are telling me and just try to do my best when I’m not in here to take care of it.”

Having gotten in an extra day of work on Wednesday, the Lions did not practice. If they would have, former Packers defensive tackle Mike Daniels would not have practiced but defensive tackles A’Shawn Robinson and Da’Shawn Hand would have returned to practice and standout rookie tight end T.J. Hockenson would have moved to full participation.
