    Report: Panthers Place Graham Gano on Injured Reserve, Ending His Season

    It's Joey Slye time in Carolina.

    The Carolina Panthers have placed kicker Graham Gano on injured reserve, and his season is officially over, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

    Gano has been dealing with a left knee injury that kept him out of the entire preseason. The Panthers have built confidence in the undrafted rookie kicker Joey Slye, who impressed every single preseason game.

    The job is now Slye's, and he'll have the 2019 season to prove himself as an NFL kicker.
