Coming into the bye week, the New England Patriots are 8-1 and sit atop the AFC. Although last week's loss to the Baltimore Ravens has given the Patriot's critics something to talk about, Bill Belichick and co. can't be too upset with where they are at this point in the season.

The first nine weeks of the campaign have been an absolute whirlwind in New England. Between their fair-share of injuries and a weekly dosage of roster turnover, which has included some prominent names, the bye week comes at the perfect time for the Patriots.

It is no secret that New England's schedule was more than favorable during the first half of the season; however, their next four match-ups, which include the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs, may be the toughest stretch of games of any team in the NFL.

At the moment, the Patriots' focus is solely on the Eagles, who the reigning Super Bowl champions have two weeks to prepare for as they wait for their Nov. 17 contest in Philadelphia.

Since Bill Belichick took the reign as Patriots head coach in 2000, the Patriots have a .737 win percentage in the game directly following a bye week, with a 14-5 overall record.

What makes this Patriots/Eagles game in Week 11 even more interesting is the fact that Philadelphia will also be coming off of a bye week. The Eagles are 2-3 after the bye since 2014.

Both teams will be more than ready and confident in their game plans they have set forth. However, as Belichick has proven for almost two decades, it is awfully tough to beat him when his team is given ample time to rest and prepare.
