Report: Tom Brady, Patriots agree to two-year, $70 million contract extension

The Patriots and Tom Brady have agreed to an extension that will pay the QB $23 million in 2019.

Quarterback Tom Brady has agreed to a two-year contract extension with the New England Patriots, according to ESPN Insider Adam Schefter. The deal gives Brady a raise for 2019, going from a $15 million salary to $23 million.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport noted that Brady will increasingly earn more each year through 2021.

Though the deal is only through 2021, Schefter also said it will be adjusted each year that Brady continues to play.
