Report: Texans no longer pursuing Nick Caserio, Patriots drop tampering charges

The battle between the Texans and Patriots over Nick Caserio ends in yet another victory for New England.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - After the New England Patriots filed tampering charges against the Houston Texans, who were trying to hire New England's Director of Player Personnel Nick Caserio as their General Manager, the Texans announced Friday afternoon they are no longer pursuing Caserio for the job. New England in return has revoked their tampering charges filed against Houston. John McClain of the Houston Chronicle was the first to report the news.

It looks like the Patriots now get to keep their de facto general manager in New England.
