The New England Patriots will have a representative present at quarterback Colin Kaepernick's workout on Saturday in Atlanta, according to Jim McBride of The Boston Globe.

Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback is holding a workout on Saturday for all 32 NFL teams. Kaepernick wants to continue playing football, and wants to show he still has what it takes physically and mentally to play in the league, which is why the NFL is giving him this stage to do such, albeit at a short notice.

New England's current QB depth chart consists of 42-year-old Tom Brady, rookie Jarrett Stidham, and Cody Kessler. The Patriots are likely sending a representative to the workout in order to update their emergency list at the position. But they could have other plans in mind. Only time will tell.
