All Brian Griese had to do to beat the Lions was avoid mistakes and let the defense and return man Devin Hester do all the work. Griese's three picks were one of the reasons Detroit won on Sunday.

The Eagles' offensive line -- especially second-year player Winston Justice -- was terrible against the Giants, but the Eagles QB deserves blame too for the 12-sack disaster. McNabb held on to the ball too long several times and his reluctance to throw gave the Giants more confidence to send blitzers and leave their defensive backs in one-on-one situations.

Bulger is clearly not himself because of his rib inury. He completed 11 of 24 passes for 114 yards with no touchdowns and one terrible interception in the red zone. The Rams put in Gus Frerotte in the third quarter, but it was too late to help in a 35-7 blowout loss to the Cowboys.

Green was 14-of-25 for 158 yards and two bad picks against the Raiders on Sunday. He looks like he's afraid to take a hit after last year's serious concussion and he's making bad throws because of it.

Carr completed 19 of 41 passes for 155 yards and an interception. He had a touchdown, but it was in garbage time. In his defense, the Bucs got a lot of pressure on him, but Carr also made poor choices throughout the game.

Rivers threw two interceptions in a home loss to the Chiefs and lost a fumble that the Chiefs returned for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Rivers' mistake-free play from last year seems like a distant memory with San Diego in a 1-3 hole.
