The Las Vegas Raiders are looking to remain undefeated when they take on the Buffalo Bills on the road this Sunday.

The Bills are looking to fix the mistakes from their overtime loss on Monday night and avoid falling to 0-2 on the season.

The Bills have one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, and it starts at the top with star wide receiver Stefon Diggs. Coach Josh McDaniels and Defensive Coordinator Patrick Graham will have No. 14 at the very top of their game plan.

Diggs has been one of the best wide receivers in the NFL for several years, dominating defenses with the Bills and the Minnesota Vikings. He and quarterback Josh Allen have formed one of the best quarterback-wide receiver duos in the league.

Diggs has posted over 1,000 receiving yards in five straight seasons. In his career, he has caught 713 passes for 8,914 yards and 60 touchdowns. He is a three-time Pro Bowler and was named First-Team All-Pro in 2020.

Evidently, 2020 was the last time the Bills played the Raiders, a game in which Diggs caught six passes for 115 yards. He will be looking to replicate this performance on Sunday, and the Raiders will be looking to prevent him from doing that.

What makes Diggs such a talented receiver and a hard cover is the quickness in his route running. He can beat defenders from all over the field, whether it’s a short slant or a go route. Not only that, but if he isn’t getting separation, he is making contested catches.

Another thing that makes him such a talented receiver is his ability to read his defender and react to how they move when defending him. Diggs has beaten defenders so many times by putting on one move, watching the defender bite on it, then putting on another move and getting open for a big gain.

Raiders defensive backs are going to have to be at their best when matching up with Diggs, because if they aren’t, Diggs will take advantage and it will be a long day for the Raiders’ defense.

The Silver and Black remain on the road next week as they travel to play the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Sept. 17, at 1:05 p.m. EDT/10:05 a.m. PDT.
