NFL owners approved the flexing of Thursday Night Football games at the Spring League Meeting on Monday after the discussion had been tabled at March's NFL Owners Meeting.

The approval allows for late-season Thursday night games to showcase more appealing match-ups. Changes to the schedule must be made with advanced notice of no less than 28 days and are only applicable for Weeks 13 to 17.

Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis wasn't a fan of the proposal.

"Just make the schedule and play it," Davis told USA TODAY Sports before Monday's vote.

Davis, who inherited the Raiders franchise from his late father, the great Al Davis, was primarily focused on what the new changes would mean for the fans.

Davis took a hilarious shot at the Los Angeles Chargers fan base in voicing his displeasure.

“If you have a Raiders-Chargers game in Las Vegas scheduled for a Thursday, and all of the fans driving from Los Angeles -- the Raiders fans and all three Chargers fans -- buy their tickets and book their hotels, how in the hell do you schedule it and now say: ‘Sorry, it’s now on Sunday?’" Davis said. "How in the hell do you do that?"

We emphasized "all three Chargers fans" for your benefit.

Yet again, Davis demonstrated that while his fan base can get upset with him, they love that he gets them and the rivalries.

Currently, the Raiders are slated to play one Thursday Night Football game, the Chargers match-up Davis had mentioned.

The following is a list of all Thursday night games from Weeks 13 to 17, as it stands now.

Week 13: Seattle Seahawks at Dallas Cowboys

Week 14: New England Patriots at Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 15: Chargers at Raiders

Week 16: New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams

Week 17: New York Jets at Cleveland Browns

The Raiders' offseason workout schedule is as follows:

OTA Offseason workouts: May 22-23, May 25, May 31-June 2, June 12-15

Mandatory Minicamp: June 6-8
