'The Love Was There!" Odell Beckham Jr. Talks To Ravens At NFL Owners Meeting

As free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. continues to weigh his options with regard to a return to the NFL, he decided to take advantage of the gathering of NFL owners and executives in Phoenix for the annual NFL owners meeting.
Beckham used that opportunity to meet with several interested teams, and the Baltimore Ravens are apparently interested.
CBS Sports indicated the meeting between the two parties went well:
"Obj on meeting with #Ravens & connecting with other teams: “The love was there, good meeting…(Lot of) people and teams I bumped into."
While there were reports that OBJ wanted $20 million APY (he debunked that notion). Getting Beckham Jr. at an affordable price is likely paramount in any potential negotiations.
Also important is Lamar Jackson's future.
Will Beckham Jr. want to be at a franchise that has so much unknown at the quarterback position? Likely not, and that is the situation Baltimore finds itself in.
General manager Eric DeCosta stated at the scouting combine that it is difficult to do business with Jackson's future looming over the franchise's head. Also, it could impact the Ravens' efforts to lure Beckham Jr., and that isn't a great spot to be in.
During new offensive coordinator Todd Monken's introductory press conference, he was asked about OBJ to the Ravens' passing attack.
"I really like Odell [Beckham Jr.], Monken told reporters. "Odell is super athletic, twitchy. [He] really likes football. I really did [like him]. It didn't work out the year I was there [with him in Cleveland], but ultimately … He's like every skill player; he's no different – I don't know why everybody gets pissed off – like, he wants the ball."
Could a signing of OBJ be the key to keeping quarterback Lamar Jackson in Baltimore? Only Jackson knows that.
