Rick Snider's Redskins Report Card
It's time for a report card look with full grades at the Redskins latest dreadful performance on Sunday.
The esteemed Professor Rick Snider is in the house and lowers the boom!
Washington was hammered at home by the now (3-7) New York Jets 34-17.
Overthrew too many open receivers, caught in pocket. Dwayne Haskins looks lost.
Running Backs: B Minus
Derrius Guice showed some spark , Adrian Peterson getting some love. Still, no steady presence.
Wide Receivers: C
Nice 50/50 catch by Terry McLaurin. Can’t catch what’s overthrown to you. Falling short one yard on third down twice can’t happen.
Tight Ends: C Minus
Redskins finally remembered they had one with a late TD pass to Sprinkle.
Offensive Line: F
No running lanes, six sacks, Brandon Scherff penalized twice on one play.
Defensive Line: D
Couldn’t stop Le'Veon Bell when needed, no pass pressure.
Jon Bostic’s interception and two Ryan Kerrigan sacks were the highlights.
Defensive Backs: F
So many missed coverages. (Shaking head) So many missed coverages.
How is defensive coordinator Greg Manusky still employed? Interim head coach Bill Callahan has done zero.
General Manager: F
Not winning on or off the field.
How can Dan Snyder look at a stadium two-thirds empty with more Jets fans than Redskins and not make a GM change next month?
There were also very loud "Sell the Team" chants throughout a half empty FedExField.
