SAINTS DC DENNIS ALLEN RUMORED TO BE A HEAD COACH CANDIDATE AGAIN
NFL Network's Jim Trotter reports Saints Defensive Coordinator Dennis Allen is desiring another opportunity to become a Head Coach in the NFL. The Saints Defense has improved under Allen the past two seasons. Allen's name has been mentioned by NFL experts as a candidate to interview for the upcoming coaching vacancies.
In his interview Allen said:
"I've thought about this a lot," he said. "Would I like to be a head coach again? The answer is: absolutely, yes.
Expect a few more Saints coaching staff members to get interviews, especially if the teams earns a playoff bid.
