Mike Tomlin says list of injuries remains minor heading into Week 2

Outside of Rosie Nix, Mike Tomlin says the Pittsburgh Steelers' long list of injuries is relatively minor.

JuJu Smith-Schuster, T.J. Watt, Cameron Heyward and Maurkice Pouncey highlight the list of injuries following the Steelers' Week 1 loss to the Patriots. All three players left during the fourth quarter in Foxborough.

Head coach Mike Tomlin says the team won't be missing all of them as they head back home to Heinz Field to take on the Seattle Seahawks. Tomlin referred to his three players being healthy for Week 2 as "hopeful," saying none of them seem significant at this point in the week.

The Steelers did suffer a major injury in Week 1, losing Rosie Nix to a knee injury. The fullback didn't play a single offensive snap against the Patriots, but left the game during a special teams play. Nix is being evaluated this week but isn't likely to play this Sunday.

Sean Davis is also a player Pittsburgh should have back on the field this week. Tomlin told the media that the safety is in the same class as the other three stars, and with no setbacks, is likely to play this weekend.

Kameron Kelly started in place of Davis in Week 1, but struggled to cover players like Josh Gordon and Julian Edelman. Kelly will likely continue to see playing time with Davis' return.

The Steelers look to return to .500 after a woeful performance in Foxborough. They take on the Seahawks in Week 2.
