Former Steelers WR Antonio Brown Drawing Interest From NFL Teams

Former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout Antonio Brown is set to make his return to football.

PITTSBURGH -- Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown is set to make his Arena League debut to play for the Albany Empire this week, helping his team etch a comeback after starting 1-4 this season.

With his return to the field, Browns' agent is claiming the wideout is receiving interest from the NFL about a possible return.

According to Browns' agent, JR Rickert, there's "genuine" interest from multiple teams about Brown signing. As OTAs and minicamp heat up, teams are rounding out their 90-man rosters, and the former All-Pro appears to be on some lists.

"He is exploring the right fit," Rickert told CBS Sports.

Brown hasn't played since leaving the field during a game in the 2021 season. The seven-time Pro Bowler is 34 years old but had 545 yards and four touchdowns in just seven games during his last NFL season.

Since leaving the Steelers in 2019, Brown has had stops in Las Vegas, New England and Tampa Bay, never playing more than eight games in a season.
