Steelers Make Roster Moves Ahead of Final OTAs Week

The Pittsburgh Steelers add two more players to their offense.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers made three roster moves ahead of their final week of OTAs, signing two players while releasing another and finalizing their 90-man roster.

The Steelers announced the signings of offensive lineman Jarrid Williams and running back Darius Hagans. They also released wide receiver Cody Chrest.

Hagans comes to Pittsburgh after originally signing with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent from the 2023 NFL Draft. He played three seasons at Virginia State, carrying the ball 420 times for 2,069 yards and 17 touchdowns.

He'll join the running back room and compete for the final spot in the backfield against Anthony McFarland Jr., Alfonzo Graham and Jason Huntley.

Williams spent most of last season with the Philadelphia Eagles after signing as an undrafted free agent. He also spent time on the Detroit Lions practice squad before ending up in Pittsburgh.

He'll compete with Dylan Cook and Le'Raven Clark for an offensive tackle spot behind Dan Moore Jr., Chuks Okorafor and Broderick Jones.
