Injury Report

Noah - The Steelers' biggest loss comes from Steven Nelson, who didn't make trip to LA with the team. Keenan Allen tore this secondary apart last year, and with Artie Burns at cornerback, there's a possibility it happens again.

Mark Barron missing action may actually boost the defense. His struggles in coverage are very apparent. Him being out will force the Steelers to use Devin Bush, who will surprises a lot of people with his pass defense.

First Quarter

11:01 - Devin Bush 9-yard fumble return

Noah - Devin Bush has put his name in the Rookie of the Year conversation. The last three weeks have been as complete as a player can play. Now, he's doing it while helping Duck Hodges.

The best way for the Steelers defense to help their offense is by scoring themselves. The pressure on Phillip Rivers is excellent, starting with Bud Dupree.

4:29 - 12-yard run by James Conner

Noah - Devin Bush may win the award tonight. Add an interception to his resume, leading to a Steelers touchdown. This team is clicking on all cylinders right now. It's going to be hard to slow them if the Chargers don't start doing something on offense.

Expect the heavy-dose of James Conner to continue. The Steelers will do whatever they need to to take the pressure off Hodges.

Second Quarter

6:34 - Devlin Hodges 26-yard pass to James Conner

Noah - James Conner is unstoppable right now. The running back has put this offense on his back and done everything he can to give the Steelers an offensive advantage.

You don't need to rely on your third-string quarterback when you can run the ball the way the Steelers are. Keep an eye on time of possession, they're going to continue soaking up as much time as possible.

Third Quarter

8:22 - Chris Boswell made 20-yard field goal

Noah - The Steelers' offense isn't expected to win this game. Producing any amount of points  with each drive will win them this game. As long as the defense continues to keep Los Angeles in check, which they will, the offense only needs to control the clock and keep putting some points on the board.

Oh, and Chris Boswell is still perfect on the year.

Fourth Quarter

14:04 - Chase McLaughlin made 38-yard field goal

Noah - Three points a game is everything you can ask for as a team. The Steelers defense has played perfect through three quarters, putting no pressure on Hodges or the offense.

This team can win through the defense moving forward. Slowing down in the fourth quarter isn't what you want to see, but there are few complaints in this game.

7:19 - Phillip Rivers 5-yard pass to Hunter Henry

Noah - The slow down continues, but at least it was Artie Burns who allowed the Hunter Henry touchdown in the back of the end zone. While he hasn't played poorly, Burns certainly isn't playing to a starter level.

If Steven Nelson was in this game, there would be a few third downs that wouldn't have gone LA's way, making this game a little more lopsided at this points.

1:29 - Phillip Rivers 11-yard pass to Hunter Henry

Noah - Let the injuries start. The Steelers have lost Joe Haden, James Conner, Stephon Tuitt and T.J. Watt during this game. The defense is slowing down, but the injuries are not helping.

The offense needs to win this game and they need to do it now. It's not the time to keep this close, again, but honestly, I'm not sure they're capable of closing it out.
