Houston Texans Meet With Clemson DT Dexter Lawrence at the 2019 NFL Combine

The Houston Texans have met with Clemson defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence at the 2019 NFL Combine. The Texans are on hand for the week to get a closer look at players to start and iron out their draft profiles moving towards the NFL Draft.

Lawrence at weigh-ins check in at 6-foot-4 and 342 lbs. with 34 3/4 inch arms and 10 1/2 inch hands.

In 2018, Lawrence was selected first-team All-ACC as a junior while starting 13 games for the Tigers. Lawrence had 44 total tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and three pass breakups. Lawrence did miss the final two games of the season due to testing positive for ostarine, a PED.

After a strong junior season, Lawrence declared for the NFL Draft.

During his career with Clemson, Lawrence had 162 total tackles, 20.0 tackles for loss, 11 sacks, 43 quarterback pressures, 5 pass breakup in 40 games (36 starts). Was named as a first team All-American for his play in 2018.
