Free Agent Wide Receiver Mike Thomas Signed
According to ESPN's Tania Ganguli, the Houston Texans have signed free agent wide receiver Mike Thomas to a futures contract to join the Texans.
Thomas was worked out earlier in the season by the Texans when Keshawn Martin was struggling.
The 5th year pro out of University of Arizona made his name with the Jacksonville Jaguars, most notably on the Hail Mary pass in 2010 against the Texans. At 5-8 and 198 lbs., Thomas can help at wide receiver and in the return game.
For his career, Thomas has 176 receptions for 1,796 yards and seven touchdowns.
