The Houston Texans have placed Tight Ends Garrett Graham and Brad Smelley on the injured reserve.
Graham took over for Owen Daniels as the starter and posted 49 receptions for 545 yards and 5 touchdowns. Graham has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury which finally landed him on the injured reserve.
Smelley was signed late in the season and placed on the 53 man roster. He appeared in two games for the Texans before tearing a calf muscle in the home finale against the Denver Broncos.
To replace Smelley and Graham on the active roster, the Texans promoted Phillip Supernaw and Chad Spann to the 53 man roster.
