Blast from the Past: Houston Texans Andre Johnson Catches Up with a Familiar Face
Times have changed. Three former Houston Texans took the time to take a picture and snap a photo before last week's week five game to take plenty back in time.
Andre Johnson, T.J. Yates, and Atlanta Falcons back up quarterback Matt Schaub showed up on Johnson's Instagram.
Johnson said on his Instagram, "Great seeing my guy Matt Schaub this past weekend."
The Texans' most decorated player and Ring of Honor inductee Andre Johnson is retired and now a special assistant to head coach Bill O'Brien. Former playoff folk hero quarterback T.J. Yates is also an offensive assistant on this year's Texans coaching staff.
Schaub was the first quarterback in Texans franchise history to give the offense a signal-caller capable leading some of the best offenses under then-head coach Gary Kubiak.
The question always remains what if Schaub never suffered his lins franc injury against Tampa Bay in 2011. The 2011 Texans team has been the franchise's best opportunity to get to the Super Bowl.
