According to RealGM's Jeff Risdon, the Houston Texans took time to meet with Virginia Tech cornerback Brandon Facyson at the 2018 Shrine Game. Facyson measured in at 6'1-1/2" and 195 lbs. with a hand size of 9-3/4".

Facyson comes from the top secondary in the nation at Virginia Tech. That group held opponents to a 46.9% completion rate. The senior cornerback started 11 of the 13 games for Hokies in 2017, putting up 19 total tackles with 2 tackles for loss and 10 total passes defended. In 2014, he was limited to three games, initially due to a stress fracture in his left leg, then suffering a tibia and fibula fracture in the same leg during bowl preparation. Facyson was granted a medical red-shirt for that season.

In his career with the Hokies, Facyson had 131 total tackles with 9 tackles plus 44 passes defended and 5 career interceptions.

Facyson is considered to be a late day three or priority free agent prospect.
