Jonathan Grimes Will Start Sunday for the Texans

Interim Head Coach Wade Phillips announced that second year running back Jonathan Grimes is set to start Sunday against the Tennessee Titans in the final game of the 2013 season. Grimes was signed to the Texans active roster last week after Ben Tate was placed on the injured reserve.

The two running backs in front of Grimes are also dealing with injuries. Dennis Johnson is questionable on Sunday with a hip injury, while Deji Karim is out for the last game with a broken collarbone.

Grimes has appeared in 10 NFL games with seven of those coming with the Texans.

On Sunday against the Denver Broncos, he had five rushes for 23 yards in limited duty late in the game.
