Starting cornerback Kareem Jackson returned to practice on Tuesday after sitting out two weeks with a broken rib by his collarbone. The injury would not allow Jackson to raise his arm or wrap up to tackle, but he returned to the field on a "limited" basis. Jackson was injured against the Arizona Cardinals early in the game and has missed the Oakland and Jacksonville games because of it.
There is still soreness in the area, so the Texans will take this day by day to see where Jackson is by Sunday.
With Jackson returning to practice, the Texans waived recently claimed cornerback Justin Rogers. Rogers appeared in one game and was waived to open a spot for offensive guard Alex Kupperwho was promoted from the practice squad to the 53 man roster.
