Kareem Jackson Ruled Out for Sunday with a Broken Rib

Publish date:

Houston Texans starting cornerback Kareem Jackson has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jackson was hurt on a tackle against the Arizona Cardinals, which he took on two blockers to make theplay on the ball carrier. He has been a key piece of the Texans defense, and has been building on a solid season this year.

Jackson has 35 total tackles on the season, 4 pass deflections and a fumble recovery this season in the nine games he started this season.

Cornerback Brice McCain will be starting in the place of Jackson in the starting lineup. This is just another blow to a defense that needs all the help they can get during this season with the team's recent struggles.
