Meet Your Newest Texan: Juaquin Iglesias
Patrick D. Starr
This morning the Houston Texans signed wide receiver Juaquin Iglesias to the practice squad. Iglesias was drafted in 2009 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears in the 3rd round (99th pick overall) from the University of Oklahoma. The Texans look like they are trying to get more athletic the wide receiver position and letting Iglesias learn on the practice squad.
Graduating from Killeen High School in Texans, Iglesias at 6'1" and 205 lbs. looks the part of the position. He has also spent time with the Minnesota Vikings late in the 2011 season.
He has only appeared in one game in his NFL career with no catches in two years, expect the Texans to use him as a practice player with a low risk and low reward scenario.
