The NFL trade deadline is approaching and Fox Sports' Jay Glazer has reported that the teams are calling to Houston Texans about DeAndre Hopkins. Hopkins is NOT on the trading block despite NFL teams attempting to find out if the star wide receiver is available for trade.

This is not the first time that teams have attempted to land Hopkins in a trade. During 2017 the New England Patriots offered linebacker Jaime Collins for Hopkins. The Texans rebuffed that trade and opted to keep their best offensive player.

There is no scenario where it appears that the Texans would trade Hopkins especially with how important he is to the offense and the organization.

In 2019, Hopkins has 49 receptions for 508 yards and three touchdowns.
