The Houston Texans have announced that former 3rd round pick (2011) Terrell McClain has been signed to the active roster to replace David Hunter who was placed on the injured reserve.
McClain is 6-2 300 lbs. and has spent time with the Carolina Panthers and New England Patriots before finding his way to Houston. Considered a bust by some experts, the University of South Florida product has failed to make his mark in the NFL. Only 24 years old, McClain is looking to produce with the Texans and become a part of the defensive line rotation.
In 13 career games, McClain has posted 19 total tackles with one sack.
