Texans Compensatory Picks Revealed
Patrick D. Starr
The Houston Texans were awarded the following compensatory picks for the upcoming 2013 NFL Draft in April.
These picks will go along with their seven picks, with one in each round including the 27th overall in the draft. This will give them a total of nine picks in the draft and four in the top 100 picks of the draft.
Compensatory picks cannot be traded and are determined by the NFL with a formula that league only knows. Picks are determined by what free agents were lost and what they signed for with their new team, and also in consideration is what players were signed to the team that lost free agents.
